Questions worth asking first
What does the fee actually pay for?
Editorial work. Our team reads what you send, checks it against public sources, writes the profile, edits it, marks it up, and keeps it at a permanent URL for the length of the subscription. That work is the product. The fee does not buy placement in our coverage, a position in any ranking or category order, or a favorable write up.
Will a listing improve my search rankings?
One page and one link will not move a competitive keyword on its own, and anyone who promises that is selling you something. What a listing does is put an indexed, well structured page about your tool on a publication with editorial history, linking back to you. That pays off most on searches for your brand name, on long tail category searches, and in the AI answers that get assembled from pages like it.
What does AEO mean here?
Answer engine optimization. Ranking a page for a query is one job. Being the source an assistant draws from when it writes the answer is a different one. Assistants favor pages with clean structure, plainly stated facts, and machine readable markup, so every listing ships with SoftwareApplication and FAQPage structured data as well as a written FAQ section.
Do you publish every submission?
No. Our editors read each one and come back with questions when something is thin or unclear. If we decline a submission before publication, the first year is refunded in full and the subscription is cancelled.
Can I supply my own copy?
You supply the substance and our editors write the page. That is the whole point of the format. A profile written in editorial voice carries more weight with readers, and with the systems reading it, than marketing copy pasted into a template.
How long does the listing stay up?
For as long as the subscription is active. Cancel whenever you want and the page stays live through the end of the paid term.
